Humility: Understanding the meaning and nature of Humility

Pride and humility are the direct opposite of each other. They cannot co-exist, nor can they tolerate each other. Pride is an enemy of humility and humility, an enemy of pride. A person may  switch between being proud and humble at different points in time but cannot be both proud and humble at any particular moment. There are no middle grounds.  In other words, at any specific time, a person is either proud or humble and never in between the two. True humility is when a person realizes and admits his/her need for God and absolutely submit to God in every aspect of life” (Michael Agronah). So true meaning of humility is recognizing a person’s neediness and absolute dependence on God.

God made creation to depend on one another. E.g. the fish depend on the sea, the plant depend on the land, man depend on God!
