The world may say that Halloween is harmless, just costumes and candy, but we must remember that Satan masquerades as an “angel of light."

The helpless baby in the Manger was also a prophet of God. He spoke the mind of God and told the people what to expect in the future.

He is our Comfort and the world needs to know this.

The essence of God's grace finds its culmination in the ransom brought by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

From the cradle to the cross, our Shepherd laid down His life to ransom humanity from the hands of sin and the punishment on all humanity.

A truer celebration of Christmas should be based upon the understanding that we have a Saviour who understands our lowliness.

As we prepare and make arrangements for Christmas, may we not miss the real reason for the season.

Reflect on your relationship with Him. Yes, He was born in a Manger but He is a Ruler, the Saviour of the world.
