To God Be the Glory: Dr. Michael Agronah Defends His PhD!

We are thrilled to share a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace in the life of Dr. Michael Agronah, who successfully defended his PhD in Computational Science and Engineering at McMaster University on May 22nd, 2025!

What began as a dream in Ghana has now become a powerful testimony of divine provision, perseverance, and purpose. Together with his wife, Dr. Mary Agronah, who also holds a PhD in Linguistics, this marks a double academic victory for the Agronahs—a couple now crowned with two PhDs!

Over the past nine years, God has carried them through an incredible journey that has taken them from Ghana to Norway, the UK, and finally to Canada. Along the way, He has blessed them with three beautiful children, an MA, a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching, and now, a PhD for each of them.

Michael and Mary are deeply grateful to God for ordering their steps, strengthening their hands, and sustaining their family through years of study, sacrifice, and service. They also extend heartfelt thanks to McMaster University for being a place of growth, mentorship, and opportunity.
